Shelby has been using quickbooks since it was a downloadable software. Quickbooks can be used online and is such a great way to organize your billing and being able to keep data safe. Quickbooks records profit and losses, and so much more. This is a platform that is perfect for service based businesses. If you do not have a service based business, Shelby recommends square or another platform like that.

Monday.com

Shelby just started using this platform last year. It allows you to make each member of your team a board. On this board you can put tasks and make updates on them. When someone is done with a task, they can update the status and mark it as completed, or that the client was contacted, etc. This really helps alleviate the number of emails you send to your team. Because we all know how overwhelming it can be to have a ton of emails.

Google Calendar

Shelby loves Google Calendar! This is a great way to time block your day and also be able to share events and obligations with members of your team by making a shared calendar.

Calendly also connects to google calendar. So if you use Calendly to schedule consultations, it automatically adds it to your google calendar and won’t book a consultation if you have a conflict.

Arguably one of the best features of Google Calendar is the color coding. When you make an event, you can color code it. Shelby uses this to understand what she has on any day at a glance. Sage green means that she has an obligation away from the office. At a glance, she knows that she needs to leave the office at a certain time. This saves so much time!
